Enrico is a haemophilia patient advocate, currently holding a General Secretary position on the board of FedEmo (the italian NMO) as well as a position on the board of the AVES Parma (a local haemophilia patient organisation) and has been involved in national and international advocacy for more than 10 years.
Enrico is a Senior Health Economist at HCD Economics. With academic background in microeconomics and econometrics, Enrico has worked on several studies in the field of rare diseases applying his expertise to numerous haemophilia burden of illness and analytic studies.
Enrico holds a BSc in Business and Economics from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and a MSc in Health Economics from the University of York as wells as post-graduate master’s course in “Patient advocacy management” from the University of Rome “Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
During his time at HCD Economics his research has focused on quality of life studies, burden of illness studies, direct preference elicitations, primary and secondary statistical analysis of survey data, cost effectiveness modelling, as well as market access landscaping studies. The primary focus of Enrico's research in haemophilia is patient-relevant outcomes, quality of life and socio-economic impact.
