Khang Nguyen, PT, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow and physiotherapist at McMaster University. He completed both his physiotherapy and doctoral training at McMaster, specializing in outcome measures and predictive modeling. Khang is a key member of the Hamilton Niagara Regional Hemophilia Centre research team, focusing on advancing the assessment of joint health in individuals with hemophilia. His research explores the Hemophilia Joint Health Score (HJHS) and Hemophilia Early Arthropathy Detection with Ultrasound (HEAD-US) to enhance the detection and prediction of early joint bleeding. Through his work, Khang aims to refine clinical tools and improve patient outcomes by enabling earlier and more accurate diagnosis of hemophilic arthropathy.
