Adam Hussain is a final-year medical student at University College London (UCL). He completed an intercalated BSc in Sports Science and Exercise Medicine at the Institute of Sport, Exercise & Health (ISEH), where he explored musculoskeletal health and principles of rehabilitation. His research, thus far, has focused on haemophilia-related topics, including 'Heterotopic Ossification in Haemophilia: An 18-Year Single-Centre Case Series' and a book chapter titled Pathogenesis of Haemophilic Synovitis and Arthropathy, amongst others. Following completion of his medical degree, Adam wishes to pursue a career in Orthopaedic surgery with an emphasis on disease prevention and innovative techniques aimed at improving patient outcomes and population health.
