Physiotherapist
Great Ormond St Hospital For Children NHS Foundation Trust
London, United Kingdom
I am an Advanced Clinical Practice Physiotherapist in Haemophilia at Great Ormond St Hospital For Children NHS Foundation Trust. I have associate staff status at University College London (UCL) and have over 30 years’ clinical experience and 20 years involved in research. I am also a member of the International Prophylaxis Study Group; an invited global member of the musculoskeletal group involved with the assessment and care of individuals with inherited bleeding disorders.
I have a particular interest in outcome assessment of children and young people with haemophilia; musculoskeletal and neurological. This involves wearables, rehabilitation, long term outcomes and functional performance measures to monitor disease outcome. My research has included feasibility, quantitative research as well as systematic reviews. I have disseminated my research in peer reviewed publications, as well as an invited lecturer at National and International conferences for over 20 years.
