A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan (MD, 1996), Dr. James is a full Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University. She holds cross-appointments to the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine and Pediatrics. She is the Medical Director of the Inherited Bleeding Disorders Clinic of Southeastern Ontario.
Dr. James is a Clinician Scientist with an active research program focused on the pathophysiology of inherited bleeding disorders and the clinical impact of these conditions. She has published >180 papers in her field and holds multiple national and international roles including Associate Editor for Blood.
